The second edition of Tbilisi Design Festival will take place on May 16 at D-Block, focusing on the theme "In Creative Resistance." Organized by the team behind Ad Black Sea, this year's event comes in a new Workshop Edition format — free to attend with pre-registration, and centered around educational activities rather than large-scale entertainment.

Guests from Poland will join local designers to lead workshops and discussions throughout the day. The festival aims to support and inspire the creative community in the face of ongoing social and political challenges.

As with last year, the culmination of the event will be the announcement of a design project. For context, last year’s project, curated by Stefan Sagmeister, was titled “Designers Against Russian Aggression.”

This year’s brief and curator will be announced on May 16.

Registration for the festival workshops will open one week before the event.
