AD BLACK SEA X UN WOMEN | CREATIVE LEADERSHIP FOR GENDER EQUALITY
On June 13th, over 60 creative professionals from Georgia’s top agencies, studios, and brands gathered at Fabrika Tbilisi for a focused day of learning and exchange. Co-hosted by Ad Black Sea and UN Women Georgia, the event was part of a joint effort to support gender equality in the creative industry.
Rather than a standard panel or lecture, the format was hands-on—designed to give participants practical tools for spotting and addressing bias in both content and workplace culture.
The day featured two core sessions:
- “From Lazy Shortcuts to Bold Creativity” by Bi Studio offered practical strategies for removing gender stereotypes from campaigns and creative briefs.
- A masterclass by UN Women’s Adriana Leigh focused on the dynamics of bias in teams and how to lead inclusively.
New research on gender attitudes in Georgia, presented by UN Women, added a local lens to the discussion.
The event created space for open conversations and critical reflection. It’s the first in a series of collaborations between Ad Black Sea and UN Women, with more workshops, activations, and public programs planned throughout the year.
