Basa Metreveli is a Georgian independent creative director and photographer, and now a co-author (with his partner in political crimes Elene Shengelia) of the book "How to win elections in Georgia". The book was created in partnership with Holy Motors, a holistic design studio from Tbilisi. 

His work sits at the intersection of advertising, photography, culture, and social research. In his Philosophy MA thesis, he explored historical ways of reading and interpreting photographic images. His book "How to win elections in Georgia” continues the main theme of his research and is a deep dive into the socio-political realities of Georgia through an analysis of election campaigns and a retrospective of their visual language.
