Cultural manager, producer, and translator. She holds a BA and MA in Philosophy from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Ilia State University. She has over 10 years of experience in education, publishing, cultural management, and the organization and administration of cultural events, including Tbilisi Open Air, Tbilisi International Film Festival, Batumi International Art-House Film Festival, Bakhmaro Sunset Fest, and others.

Mariam is currently a member of the Artistic Board of Theatre Haraki and works on various translation projects. She is also the founder and director of the Performing Arts Laboratory and the co-founder of Projection 24, a film technology and distribution platform specializing in DCP mastering, subtitling, translation, and film screenings.

Her main interests include contemporary cinema, theatre, cultural theory, film distribution, and the social life and circulation of cultural works.
