Rene Wawrzkiewicz is a graphic designer and design curator. He is a co-founder of The Polish Graphic Design Foundation and The Network Eastern European Design. He is the curator and coordinator of numerous initiatives and projects connected with Polish graphic design, including the “Festival of Eastern European Design” (a design festival), “Polish Graphic Design Talks” (design conferences), “Polish Graphic Design Awards” (design competitions), “TypoPolo,” and “The Polish Exhibition of Graphic Symbols” (exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw). He has also collaborated with Slanted magazine, helping to develop special issues dedicated to Georgia and Armenia.
