Like many millennial teenagers, Alexander Gabrichidze chose to study Global Economics and Management. Yet from the age of four, football had been his main passion. Little did he know that, in the world of football, beyond playing or coaching, another career window could open for him. In 2019, he ended up at Adjarasport by chance, where he soon learned that the rights to broadcast the English Premier League had been acquired. That August, he commentated on Liverpool vs. Norwich City — and has barely left the commentary booth since.
