Ad Black Sea 2018 jury includes world-renowned advertising professionals from Europe, Ad Black Sea region and other continues. Advertising specialists represent chairmen, founders, CEOs, creative directors of international communications agencies. There are winners of international festivals/contests and participants of the international jury teams of Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, ADC*E, Epica, etc.
Entries will be evaluated by 3 jury panels according to Contests:
1. FILM, FILM CRAFT, ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS, RADIO & AUDIO JURY
2. PRINT & PUBLISHING, DESIGN & BRANDING, OUT OF HOME JURY
3. DIGITAL & MOBILE, MEDIA, BRANDED CONTENT & VISUAL STORYTELLING JURY
Judges will gather of live in Batumi on September 19-20, 2018.
For all Ad Black Sea categories, judges will consider two criteria. In order of importance, the work must be an original/fresh/inspiring idea and exceptionally well executed.
In craft categories work is judged first on the strength of the craft, then on how it contributes to the success of the idea.
HOW THE JUDGING WORKS
Judging consists of viewing, discussion, and voting.
Each panel team of awarded and respected creative leaders independently from other teams evaluates all entries in their contest. Winners and Best of Contest will be determined by jury members.
In the first round, judges consider each entry based on whether they consider it a shortlist candidate. To be in shortlist, a project must get votes from at least 50% of the jury team. After it judges will review shortlisted entries and consider whether they are worthy of being shortlisted only or a possible winner. Then jury members review entries before voting on whether they consider each a gold, silver or bronze winner. After voting, results are read out and juries confirm the decisions.
Council of Chairmen will choose Grand Prix of festival among all gold winners.
Final results will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on September, 22.
