Mervyn Ten Dam, Executive Creative Director and Founder of ACHTUNG, Netherlands, Jury Members of Digital & Mobile contest is invited as a speaker of the seminars program at Ad Black Sea 2017. Mervyn will give a speech about “How to catch a goldfish”.
Mervyn shared some details about speech.
Due to the fact that we're more connected than ever and consume more information than ever, the attention span of humans dropped drastically over the last 10 years. Up to the point that it is below that of a little orange friend we all know: a goldfish.
Especially in digital, where everything is a click away and brands have to fight for attention, it's important to have really good bait. Are you able to communicate your idea in the shortest, most intriguing way?
If you acknowledge the fact that people are definitely not waiting for you as a brand , it opens doors to think what people do care about, and use that to find and interesting angle for your brand to connect.
I will share secrets of success in the presentation, so come and have a look!
Mervyn has a digital background with a passion for innovation and non-traditional ways of communication. This led to a wide array of work that got recognized by both peers and jury’s internationally. In the last 10 years ACHTUNG! received over 110 Awards and was declared Agency of the Year 4 times.
